About Spray–

A blacklockheed quartz crystal observed at angles: various surfaces are explored. refraction and deflection give way to a soft absorption in which all light, all information and all data are drawn into the interior – dissolution of quartz, atomization of crystal: spray. all fragments suspended in space are always part of their original form. each fragment contains the blueprint of its own making. strings of codes, data evaporate, picture information begins to disintegrate. new mechanisms evolve, slowing down and impeding readability. these notions lead to the formation of strategies that not only soak up information, but also diffuse it.

From April 03 through April 06 incite/ played more than 60 gigs, including tours in Europe and the US, numerous single gigs and festivals. December 04 marked a milestone in incite/'s development: their first 7" was released on fragmented media and they debuted their conceptual live set including videos that are triggered live in perfect sync with the music presented in a distinct mise en scene.

About Carsten Nicolai (aka noto, alva noto)–

The German artist/musician Carsten Nicolai uses electronic sound and visual art as a kind of hybrid- tool to create his own microscopic view of creative processes. His world looks more like a laboratory- constantly morphing in space and time, influenced by the impulses of this media world, sound- the message as a code- becomes, the primary theme via visualized sound performance.
