"Live, I re-build every time another story, with my images & sounds."
The principle is to improvise, with different narratives sounds and images pieces from my movies… It's a kind of human "random" mode option into a “live cinema” thing…
Rafaël (film director, videoartist, photographer, performer, etc…), works with elements from his daily environment to develop his very personal visual language. Photographic and video images are captured, processed and transformed in rhythmic sequences, all of it done under the view of the experimental photographer, differing him from the usual VJ stereotypes, and using humour as a definitive element in his visual universe. His works have been exhibited at many international festivals such as the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, Avit UK, Outvideo in Russia, Green Film Festival in Seoul, Vidéoformes in France, etc... All his recents works was distributed in USA by Independent Exposure/Microcinema International.
