[re:gather] are the monthly research gatherings of FoAM. They are designed for artists and researchers to present and discuss their work in progress, in an informal and inspiring setting. The research presentations tend to be short and visually focused, allowing time for questions and conversations. The conversations are fuelled by thematically designed food & drinks. The research gathering in November 2008 will focus on live coding, gaming environments and botanical information visualisation.
FoAM (http://fo.am) is a hybrid research centre and artistic studio with bases in Brussels and Amsterdam. FoAM's activities permeate through the gaps between creativity and innovation, traditional crafts and emerging technologies, stories and realities. FoAM blends digital and physical worlds on a human scale, from materials to whole environments.
Tale of Tales BVBA is a games development studio, founded by Auriea Harvey and Michaël Samyn in Belgium in 2002. The purpose of Tale of Tales is to create elegant and emotionally rich interactive entertainment. We explicitly want to cater to people who are not enchanted by most contemporary computer games, or who wouldn’t mind more variety in their gameplay experiences. For this purpose, all of our products feature innovative forms of interaction, engaging poetic narratives and simple controls.
