About VIDOS

Like the enormously successful “Isolated” DVD released by Funkstörung in 2004, “Vidos” is a hybrid product, consisting of a small catalogue and a DVD with about 30 videos to the music of Michael Fakesch (formerly of Funkstörung).

Funkstörung had always been known for creating innovative sounds – they became famous through their unusual remixes for Björk, Wu-Tang Clan and Jean Michel Jarre, to name just a few – but with „Isolated“ they found an amazing way to present their music. The “Vidos” project takes the great concept of “Isolated” one step further: ”Vidos” contains about 30 innovative video clips of all the songs featured on Michael Fakesch’s new album “Dos” – some in multiple versions – as well as bonus tracks, additional mp3s and an exclusive audio software developed by Julius Kammerl.

About the content

The video clips on “Vidos” are done by internationally acclaimed and highly awarded artists, filmmakers, directors, animators and designers such as zeitguised (UK), Quayola (UK), Paolo Lima/MusaWorkLab (Portugal), Brian Bixby/Keep Adding (USA), Scott Pagano/Neither Field (USA), Mateuniverse/Psyop (USA), Marcelo Baldin (Brasil), Giraffentoast (Germany), Markus Wambsganss/Kaliber16 (Germany), Antonin de Bemels (Belgium), Sam Vanoverschelde/Visual Kitchen (Belgium) and many others.
