For those who are interested in a full day Cimatics we offer an interesting start-up in the afternoon yet at the media-art gallery 'MediaRuimte'. In a series of 5 screening programmes we present some very different but world-class approaches on audiovisual culture, from experiments in narration towards visual music, abstract cinema and motion graphics.

[re:gather] is the name for the monthly research gatherings of FoAM. They are designed for artists and researchers to present and discuss their work in progress, in an informal and inspiring setting. The gathering during Cimatics will focus on live coding, gaming environments and botanical information visualization. The presentations tend to be short and visually focused, allowing time for questions and conversations. The conversations are fueled by thematically designed food & drinks.

Artkillart is a label based in Paris/Berlin, created in 2006. The label aims to promote experimental audiovisual and sound art. Artkillart invites artists to conceptualize, create and design an object, which explores the limitations of the support (dvd, cd and/or vinyle). Each object is designed following this reflection, as an experience for the artist and an experience for the audience. Artkillart proposes a program in the field of real-time audiovisual and post-VJ live performances. The whole night will be streamed through radiowne.org.

At iMAL (not Congres as first announced) this first I ♥ Bru night will present, amongst many other things, the world-release of the VIDOS project with an exclusive concert of Michael Fakesch. More to look out for: audiovisual performances by Depart and Incite and VJing by In Graphics We Trust and Visual Kichten. Much respected audio-artist Eavesdropper will be happy to transform this first I ♥ Bru in a party with his both relevant and irrelevant party records.
