For those who are interested in a full day Cimatics we offer an interesting start-up in the afternoon yet at the media-art gallery 'MediaRuimte'. In a series of 5 screening programmes we present some very different but world-class approaches on audiovisual culture, from experiments in narration towards visual music, abstract cinema and motion graphics.
Share Brussels @ iMal
SHARE is an international community, a series of informal open A/V jam sessions started in NY and Montréal. Cimatics is proud to present the launch of 'Share Brussels' in collaboration with iMAL. SHARE is a moment of experimental collaboration between artists working in the field of audio, video and performance art. Everyone is invited to join this session of collaborative experimentation. Right before that you are more then welcome to join the panel discussion hosted by VJ Theory on 'Post VJ Live'
I ♥ BRU#2 @ Congres
I ♥ BRU#2 is the name for another night full of audiovisual performances, concerts and VJing at the underground railway station 'Gare Bruxelles / Station Brussel Congres'. Starting with the more intimate live cinema performances by Aki Onda and Solu we gradually build up towards an explosive audiovisual closing party with, amongst many others, VJ Meat and Jodi.

VIDOS - world release
On Friday Nov 28 Cimatics presents the world-release of the VIDOS DVD. This release with videos to the music of ex-Funkstörung Michael Fakesch' album DOS will be part of the screening program and there will be a special dj/live concert by Michael Fakesch himself.
TRANSMEDIALE screenings
In collaboration with Transmediale festival Berlin we present a 'best of' of the screening programme as selected for Transmediale 2008. The selection presents work by Semiconductor, Xu Tan, Michelle Deignan and many others.
SHARE Brussels - launch
On Saturday Nov 29th, iMal in collaboration with Cimatics will launch SHARE Brussels. Share is an international movement for open jam sessions. This is an open call for participants to plug in.
